OtakuFeed found out from Anime!Anime! that Netflix has announced three brand new anime projects that are currently in development!
The Netflix Original Anime were announced on June 11 as Netflix’s Geeked Week; an event centered on comic books, anime, games, and various pop culture genres.
One of the brand new projects is Bright: Samurai Soul, a film based on Will Smith’s 2017 action movie Bright, directed by Kyohei Ishiguro ( Your Lie in April, Children of the Whales ).
It will be changing the setting completely to Japan in the middle of the Bakumatsu/Meiji transition.

Izo, a Ronin, and Raiden, an orc, work to bring a young elf girl and the wand she carries to the land of the elves in the north.

The space horror series Exception gloats character sketches by Final Fantasy’s Yoshitaka Amano and dialogue by novelist Hirotaka Adachi (under the pen name Otsuichi).

Lastly, Make My Day is a sci-fi film about an original story by Yasuo Otagaki ( Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, Moonlight Mile ).
