Sugar Apple Fairy Tale
OtakuFeed found out that the November edition of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine unveiled that Miri Mikawa and Aki’s Sugar Apple Fairy Tale light novel series would be getting a manga. The conversion will be published in the magazine’s December edition on November 4. Yozora no Udon is making the manga.
The fiction novels are placed in the Kingdom of Highland, where fairies assist humans, and the story centers on Anne. Anne’s mother recently died, so Anne chooses to take on the family tradition and to be a Silver Sugar Master, a unique artisan who can produce mystic candy. So, with her fairy bodyguard Charles, she goes out on a journey to the capital.
Author Mikawa and artist aki started the novels in April 2010 and concluded the series in the 17th volume in February 2015. Alto Yukimura issued a two-volume manga adoption of the novels on Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume Online official website from 2013 to 2014.
The novels also inspired an anime adaptation.
J-Novel Club is also issuing Mikawa’s Culinary Chronicles of the Court Flower (Ikka Kōkyū Ryōrichō) light novels in English.
