Chinzei Hachirō Tametomo
OtakuFeed found that the official YouTube channel of the town of Kamimine’s PR account has begun airing the very first episode of the anime Chinzei Hachirō Tametomo (also known as Minamoto no Tametomo)

The anime will consist of 13 episodes. The second episode will be aired in May 2022, and the following episodes will be released every month.
Yasuko Matsuyuki narrates the anime. Shunsuke Takeuchi voices Chinzei Hachirō Tametomo. Kunihiko Higashi plays Itо̄ Suketsune.
Toshiyuki Yahagi (Guilty Crown) is supervising the anime. Taku Kishimoto (Fruits Basket) is drafting the screenplay. Taku Iwasaki (Gurren Lagann) is making the music.
Kamimine chose to create the anime after many fan responses to Production I.G’s animated music video last December. The anime got the bronze prize in the provincial revitalization section at the Kyoto Animonozukuri Awards in September.
Production I.G made an animated music video for the town of Kamimine in the Saga Prefecture last December named “Chinzei Hachirō Tametomo,” which tells the tale of a samurai by the corresponding name (also known as Minamoto no Tametomo) who worked as a military leader around the conclusion of the Heian Period. The music video starred the theme song “Time-to-More” by rock band UNICORN.
The anime was made as a portion of the “Minamoto no Tametomo Project,” which supports the region of Kamimine. It shows the tale of how the samurai traveled to Kyushu after being discarded by his father. He finds individual growth in the region of Kaminine, although ultimately, he returns to Kyoto to save his father amid the Hōgen Rebellion of 1156.
