OtakuFeed found that Animax Asia has started airing a commercial that unveiled that it would be streaming a simulcast of the anime of Shiro Manta’s My Senpai Is Annoying (Senpai ga Uzai Kōhai no Hanashi) manga. Animax Asia aired the anime on Sunday, October 10, at 8:30 p.m. GMT +8.
The anime was aired in Japan on Saturday.
Seven Seas is issuing the manga in North America.
Plot:
Igarashi is a determined young office lady. Takeda, the senpai above her at her job, bothers her regularly, yet she grows more familiar with him. Every day is packed with humorous misfortunes and tender bits as Igarashi attempts to coordinate work, life, and love. This full-color manga which began as a webcomic, is certain to please fans of workplace comedies similar to Aggretsuko and The Office!
Yoshimi Narita (Beet the Vandel Buster, I★CHU: Halfway Through The Idol) is superintending the anime’s scripts, Shigemitsu Abe (Killing Bites) is the character artist, Ryota Itoh (episode director for Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Ping Pong, Aikatsu Stars!) is supervising the anime at Doga Kobo (Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater). Takeshi Takadera (Yowamushi Pedal, RIN-NE) is the sound manager, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone, Children of the Whales) is making the music.
