Kubo Wont Let Me Be Invisible.
OtakuFeed found out that this year’s 14th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine revealed Nene Yukimori’s Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible (Kubo-san wa Mob o Yurusanai) manga will be getting an epilogue chapter in the manga’s 12th and final assembled book volume on April 18. The “extra special episode” is placed after the last chapter of the main story.
The manga’s main story concluded on Thursday. The manga began its final arc, “Confession,” in the magazine’s subsequent issue on February 9.
Viz Media is issuing the manga digitally and in print in English. Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service is also publishing the manga in English digitally, and it tells the story:
First-year high schooler Junta Shiraishi is a mob character who goes unnoticed even when standing beside you. But his classmate, “heroine-level beauty” Kubo, always notices him and is there to tease him. Of course, anyone can become unique to someone, but it might be a little too early to call these feelings “love.” Perhaps this story is still two steps from being a romantic comedy–let’s call it a sweet comedy where a background character becomes visible!
Yukimori established the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in October 2019. The manga also operates on the Shonen Jump+ website and app. Shueisha issued the manga’s 11th compiled book volume in December 2022. Viz Media issued the manga’s fifth volume on January 3.
The manga inspires an ongoing anime adaptation that aired on January 10. HIDIVE is airing the series. The show’s staff postponed all episodes past episode 6 because of COVID-19 interfering with the production schedule. The anime will re-air from episode 1 beginning in April.
