OtakuFeed found out that Kodansha USA Publishing revealed that it had Authorized an Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki’s My Home Hero manga. It will begin issuing the manga online on February 28.
Yamakawa and Asaki Released the manga in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017. The manga’s 19th compiled book volume was issued on January 6. The manga continued its third and final part in the 29th issue of Weekly Young Magazine in June 2022. The final arc takes place seven years after the second part. The manga went into hiatus after its second part ended in October 2021.
The manga centers on a salaryman with a dedicated wife and a daughter in university who can occasionally act a bit rowdy but has a happy life in his way. One day, he discovers his daughter has been beaten and thus starts his journey into a treacherous world to defend his family.
The manga will be getting an anime that will air in April.
Yamakawa and Akinari Nao’s I’m Standing on a Million Lives manga encouraged a television adaptation that aired in October 2020—the anime’s second season aired in July 2021. Kodansha US is issued the manga in English.
Asaki made the art for Yuma Ando’s Psychometrer and Psychometrer Eiji manga, and also made the IWGP: Denshi no Hoshi manga for the Ikebukuro West Gate Park franchise.
