‘Kaguya-sama Love is War’ Manga Will Enter In Its Final Arc

Kaguya-sama Love is War

OtakuFeed found that this year’s 45th edition of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump unveiled that Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai – Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen) manga is beginning its final arc. The manga will also be stopping in the magazine’s next edition and will come back in the 47th edition on October 21.

The manga had stopped in May so that Akasaka had time to write and make the manga’s brand new act.

Viz Media is publishing the manga’s English version.

“All’s fair when love is war!

Two intellectuals. Two minds. Two hearts. One clash. Who will declare their love first…?!

Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are a couple of intellectuals at the top of their academy’s student senate, making them the elite. But it’s empty at the top, and they have fallen for one another. But, sadly, there’s just one significant obstacle being in the way of lovey-dovey joy. They don’t want to be the first to confess their love and therefore become the “loser” in the game of love! And so starts their everyday plans to push the other to admit first!”

Akasaka started the series in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015, but it went to Young Jump in March 2016. Shueisha issued the manga’s 23rd compiled book volume on August 18. Viz Media issued the 20th volume on August 3. The manga has also encouraged two spinoff manga series.

The manga also encouraged an anime that was streamed in January 2019 and was aired for 12 episodes. Aniplex of America aired the anime on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow. The company also published the anime on Blu-ray Disc in February.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai – Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen, the second anime season, aired in April 2020. Funimation aired the anime as it was broadcasted in Japan. Funimation also had dubbed versions of each season of the anime. An original video anime (OVA) project aired on May 19. The anime is also confirmed to have a third season.

The manga also encouraged a live-action film that showed in Japan in September 2019. A sequel film showed on August 20.
